Advanced enrichments & Credits
Paid plans add advanced enrichments for full content, AI summaries, and natural language search.
Monthly limit
Plus subscribers get 100 advanced enrichments per month and Pro subscribers get 500. After the monthly allowance and any purchased credits are exhausted, new links are saved with Basic Save until the allowance resets or more credits are added.
Buying more credits
If you need more than 500 advanced enrichments in a month, you can purchase credit packs:

Credits kick in automatically after your monthly advanced enrichments are used up. Purchased credits require an active plan — if your subscription expires, your credits are preserved and available when you resubscribe.
Credits never expire
Purchased credits carry over indefinitely — they don't reset at the end of your billing cycle. Only your monthly 500 advanced enrichments refresh each cycle.
RSS subscriptions
Each new item from your RSS subscriptions uses 1 advanced enrichment, the same as saving a link manually. High-volume feeds will use up your monthly limit faster, so choose your subscriptions accordingly.
X threads
When you save any post in the root author's self-reply chain on X, Shiori canonicalizes the bookmark to the root and saves the complete chain as one bookmark. Each post uses 1 advanced enrichment because every post is extracted separately, including its own long-form text and media. Ordinary commenter replies and the author's replies inside side conversations remain standalone posts. If the full thread cannot be funded, Shiori saves the root post only and does not charge for a partial set of replies.
X bookmark backfill
The backfill feature imports your full X bookmark history into Shiori. Each bookmark uses 1 advanced enrichment, or one per post when the bookmark is a thread. Duplicates are automatically skipped, so you're never charged twice for the same link.
